had some water damage to my kitchen and hired a general contractor to do restoration, the carpenter had to build two new back panels for the kitchen island. The baseboard joint ( where the two back panels connects) is clearly off and when I asked him to correct the issue, he said the root cause is because the drywall behind the Back panel is “caved” in, the lower section of that drywall was removed by the general contractor’s demo team and later reinstalled. My question how difficult it is...
